America’s largest restored Shaker community, this 3,000-acre National Historic Landmark allows visitors the chance to explore 14 original Shaker buildings and an extensive collection of Shaker furniture. Costumed interpreters demonstrate life as it was in the mid-19th century. The village lies approximately 24 miles southwest of Lexington, near Harrodsburg.
